Who: Hugh and Chloe
When: Afternoon
Where: The Cafe
What: Meeting a friendly face
Hugh was one of the many people guilty of not weather watching. Though he could obviously tell it was miserably cold outside in his opinion, he never expected another windy day to arrive so soon. It wasn't really a big deal for him since most of his day was spent inside the sanctuary of the Art Supplies Shop if not home. Sadly, it was still quite cold inside. People left the door open, or a rush of cold air seemed to be trapped inside the facility.
Though windy in the Afternoon, the Cafe was hardly a journey from the Art Supplies Shop. Dressed in a warm jacket, he somewhat jogged towards the area and asked for a regular cup of coffee. The server was kind enough to offer that Hugh seat himself and she would bring the hot beverage to him.
Hugh sat in the way back and set down his sketchbook that he brought with him everywhere. While he waited for his coffee, he flipped to a new page and began to look for inspiration.
Outside he saw a young woman standing outside. She had somewhat of a calm expression on her face, but she appeared to be glowing with energy despite the feature. For the hell of it he tried to draw her, starting with her hair blowing carelessly in the wind. She was at a perfect distance. He didn't feel like some creep for continuously staring at her. Especially when trying to get her facial features correct.
But when she began to walk into the interior of the cafe, Hugh flipped to another page and pretended to be working on his nearly finished sketch of the Arts and Trade Enclave.
Shit, shit shit. The medium kept telling himself, hoping that she didn't spot him looking at her. He hated confrontations. In fact, he was trying to figure out what his excuse was going to be.
I don't know. Drawing you. Mind sound very creepy.
